Flags of the Middle East: printable quiz

A free worksheet of the 16 flags of the Middle East to name. Print it, hand it out, and use the answer key below to mark it.

Uses the common definition of the Middle East: the Arabian Peninsula, the Levant, Iran, Turkey, Cyprus and Egypt. Many of these flags share the red, white, green and black of the Pan-Arab colours, which makes it one of the harder sets.

Colour clues for a warm-up, counting main colours only: 14 of the 16 flags contain white, 12 contain red, 8 contain green. The answer key also lists each capital, so the same sheet works as a flags and capitals quiz.

Press Ctrl / Cmd + P to print, or save as PDF. Free to use in classrooms and at home. For capitals and currencies, see the full list of Middle East Countries. Other regional sets: Caribbean · South America · Eastern Europe.
